For God So Loved the World

Hello, dear friends! Pastor Greg here from Faith Freewill Baptist Church. As we enter the month of June, we are reminded of the joy that comes from walking in faith. With summer’s warmth and longer days, it’s a beautiful time to reflect on God’s presence in our lives.

Strengthening Our Faith

Our spiritual journey is much like a walk — one step at a time, trusting God to guide us. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Let this be a season of deepening your trust in Him.

Resting in God’s Peace

Summer can be a time of both rest and renewal. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Take time this month to draw near to God, finding peace in His presence and comfort in His Word.

Sharing God’s Light

As the sun shines brightly this season, let us also shine the light of Christ in our communities. Matthew 5:16 encourages us, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Acts of kindness, words of encouragement, and prayers for others can make a lasting impact.
