May Message: Celebrating Family and God’s Blessings

Hello, dear friends! Pastor Greg here from Faith Freewill Baptist Church. As we enter the beautiful month of May, we celebrate the gift of family. Family is one of God’s greatest blessings, providing love, support, and a sense of belonging.

The Gift of Family

Psalm 127:3 reminds us, “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Our families are a reflection of God’s love and grace. Whether by blood or by bond, the people we call family enrich our lives and strengthen our faith.

Building Stronger Bonds

Ephesians 4:2-3 encourages us to, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” This month, let us commit to nurturing our family relationships, offering forgiveness, understanding, and kindness.

Honoring Mothers and Parents

In May, we also celebrate Mother’s Day, a time to honor the incredible women who have shaped our lives. Proverbs 31:28 says, “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” Let us give thanks for the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who have provided love and guidance.
