October Message: A Season of Reflection and Gratitude

Hello, dear friends! Pastor Greg here from Faith Freewill Baptist Church. As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, October invites us to reflect on God’s goodness and prepare our hearts for the coming season of thanksgiving.

God’s Faithfulness in Every Season

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Just as nature transitions through its seasons, our lives also go through changes. In every moment, we can trust that God is with us, guiding and providing for our needs.

Harvesting Gratitude

October is often a time of harvest, both in our fields and in our hearts. Let us take time this month to reflect on the blessings God has poured into our lives. Psalm 107:1 says, “O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.” A heart of gratitude draws us closer to Him.

Sharing God’s Love

As the days grow shorter, let us be a light to those around us. Galatians 6:9 encourages us, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Through acts of kindness, words of encouragement, and prayers for one another, we can spread God’s love in our communities.
