Happy New Year 2026: Embracing God’s Promises

Hello, dear friends! Pastor Greg here from Faith Freewill Baptist Church. As we stand on the threshold of a brand new year, I invite you to reflect on the blessings of the past and embrace the opportunities that 2026 holds. With God’s grace, we can step forward in faith, hope, and love.

Trusting in God’s Plan

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” As we enter this new year, let us trust in God’s divine plan for our lives, knowing He walks with us every step of the way.

Renewing Our Hearts and Minds

Lamentations 3:22-23 encourages us, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” No matter what challenges we face, God’s mercy and grace are always available to us.

Committing to Growth and Service

This year, may we seek to grow spiritually, love others deeply, and serve our communities with compassion. Galatians 6:9 urges us, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Let’s commit to making 2026 a year of purpose and kindness.
